We’re happy to report that thanks to our most recent Gold Effie win in New York on June 5, we’re now one of only four independent agencies in North America to be recognized by the Effie Awards for five-years running.
The “Zooglies” campaign for the Lincoln Children’s Zoo was awarded a Gold Effie in the Travel, Tourism and Destination category, besting entries from Expedia and the Aruba Tourism Authority.
“Zooglies” was launched during a period of time when the zoo felt it had nothing new to talk about – no new exhibits and no new attractions – and helped generate an 18% increase in attendance year over year, and a 9% growth in membership sales.
Results like those have helped earn us our fourth place ranking as one of the “Top 15 Most Effective Independently Held Agencies in North America,” as measured by the Effie Effectiveness Index. We’re honored to be included on a list that includes some remarkable independent agencies including Wieden+Kennedy, Heat and Cramer-Krasselt.
Our hot streak at the Effie Awards began in 2010 with a Gold winner and Grand Effie finalist for Mission Bean Coffee.
To us, the Effies are far more than simply an award – they’re proof of the focus and importance we put on generating business results for the brands we serve, no matter the size of the challenge, or the budget.
